Sing it Out

Have you ever discovered a song that you loved? I mean really loved.

One that you can listen to 5 times in a row without getting sick of it. Whenever you listen to it, you can't help but turning the volume up. And it gives you chills and just fills your body with music-y goodness.

Well, I found a song that does all of those things for me.

Josh Groban is the man.

Hope This Feeling Lasts

I met a boy that gave me butterflies.

It's been a while since I've felt like this. Sure, I've seen cute boys. I've hung out with cute boys. I've gone on dates.

But I haven't felt this giddy feeling for a while.

Now, I'm not saying that we're going to date, or going to get married, or anything like that. (Although it would be nice to get just one date...)

I'm just saying that I have butterflies, and I like it. :)

Wouldn't Change a Thing

So I was thinking how I was going to review this past year in a blog, and I got the idea of looking at my statuses from Facebook from the "My Year in Status" app. So I'll say what I did each month, with my status updates as fun side notes. :)

*Warning: Most of these status updates are about Harry Potter, Zac Efron, and teaching... this is what my life consisted of in 2010.

So, here it goes:

January:

Started student teaching:

  • wishes she could see all of her cohort friends tomorrow. It's going to be a sad semester without you. :)
  • Has it really only been two days of school? It feels like it's been 2 weeks.
  • is running out of creative juices. How to teach about Pearl Harbor...
  • Is it Friday yet?
  • Teacher: "What is the best part of this class?" Student: "Miss Scott!" ...Success. :)

Was still loving my music video:

Had fun with roommates:

  • loves sneaking empanadas into movie theaters

Survived the cold weather:

  • And the windsheild scraper strikes again! THANK YOU!
  • wants to thank the mysterious person who scraped her windshield this morning. Made my day. :)
  • There's a storm comin' Harry, and we best meet it when she does.

Loved Harry Potter:

  • I keep going to my profile, about to change my picture to a celebrity look alike, but I just love my current picture way too much to change it. Hey, I can pass for Ginny Weasley, right?

February:

Ate and craved good food:

  • I love you Swirls string cheese.
  • The problem with wanting pizza is needing someone to share it with.

  • Sixteen, sixteen, sixteen day left. Get ready. Game on!
  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! ... Okay, back to work. *sigh*
  • I'm sick of writing lesson plans. 15 days x 6 lessons a day = 90 lessons to go.
  • is feeling GREAT!
  • After a lecture about bringing toys to class: "Miss Scott, I don't need toys to keep me entertained, because I have so much fun during math, reading, and science!" Oh ya, this is why I chose to be a teacher. :)
