Christmas is in the Air

Yesterday, my family decided to skip out on work and school and go Christmas shopping. Let me just say that I love my family. :)

So our first stop was the mall, and it made me sooo excited for Christmas. One thing that I do not like about college is that December doesn't really feel like Christmas. Sure, we have a few decorations in our apartment, but December is just a stressful time and we're all too worried about finals to really enjoy the holiday season. Anyway, back to the mall. So we walk into the mall and it looks like Christmas, sounds like Christmas, even smells like Christmas. Ian even did the Christmas walk with me. (I don't really know what that is, but we did it yesterday.)

I guess the point of this post is to say that I love Christmas. I love the feeling of Christmas, the music, the traditions, the sugar cookies, the decorations. I just love it all. It's so fun being with my family and just enjoying the season.

So, now that I am done with finals... forever, I mean seriously, I never have to take another final again as long as I live... I can't wait to get home, sit by the Christmas tree, snuggle up with a warm blanket, and read a good book.

Ya, I'm excited. :)
